Every engagement starts with understanding what's true — before we build anything, whether it's a brand, a campaign, or a film.
On the Agency side, it's the Communications Audit — reading the existing landscape and naming what's working, what isn't, and what's missing. On the Studio side, it's Discovery — sitting with the brief and the people behind it until the story comes into focus. Both produce the artefact everything else runs on: a strategic brief, or a treatment.
So we made it the standing rule. The audit, or the discovery, is the foundation every engagement is built on — the strategic brief, or the treatment, that the rest of the work follows from.
